The
Cross
in Everyday Life
is a one-day conference designed to provide Christian graduate
students and professors with an opportunity to fellowship and to
learn about matters of
importance to Christians in academia.
The featured speaker,
Dr. George Murphy ,
will explore the important practical implications, for our lives as
Christians in academia, of the Cross of Christ. For example, if the Cross is part of God's
most complete self-revelation to mankind, what does the Cross have to say about how we should think and
act in the academic community? And what insights might we understand, from the Cross of
Christ, about God's other actions in history?
